Well, it was alive. I was preparing e-commerce when who shows up? Fwend Nate and his magic image stealer, LOL. As my site tester, who showed me the ease with which my images could be stolen, I decided my apetite for theft was not high enough to accept all my images being stolen by humans, and AI. So down came the old galleries with large print quality images, and up went the lower quality (72dpi as opposed to 300 dpi, a 2MB file size instead of as large as it could be, and a humongous watermark splashed across the middle) images that can’t really be reused, although Fwend Nate will test that theory too.
So what does that mean for you, my customers, and friends that just like looking at my images. Well, on the internet, you won’t really notice the difference other than the pages will load quicker, and if you order a print, the same high quality image with just a small signature watermark in the lower right corner, will be used. So even if you order a huge 60″X40″ print it will still be the same beautiful quality.
Also, at least temporarily, and maybe even permanently direct from the website ordering is disabled. One of my instructors as he has time is going to lend his programming talents to try to secure my print quality photos. Hopefully that means I will be able to bring direct from the website ordering back. Until then, or until I get a webform setup, feel free to e-mail [email protected] with which image you want, and we’ll start the process on getting you the beautiful print you want.
So, as you can see the website is alive, but it’s on life support. Please bear with me, as my friends and I work to improve the site for you and me.
