ACK! What happened to the galleries?
When I started rebuilding the website it was my intention to do automated e-commerce. Because of that I had to load my highest quality print images, which slows down the website, and exposed those images to possibly being taken without my permission thereby depriving me income from my work. So I asked my friend Nate to look at my site. I said, “Fwend Nate can you give me your professional opinion?” Being the friend he is, he said sure, and proceeded to download my “protected” artwork. And so we started looking at how to protect it. Long story short, it proved beyond both of us as neither of us is a web programmer.
What do I do now?
I’ve decided to reload the galleries with low quality (Max 2MB, 72 dpi) images with a humongous watermark across the images. It’ll take a few days, but with the exception of the watermark, you won’t notice the difference on the computer. At the same time, any prints from the images on the website will have a big ole watermark, and look crappy compared to the High Quality images you order from me.
How do I order?
I will put up a link on each gallery page to an order form that you will fill out. That form will send me a message from which I’ll determine the price, and send you a PayPal invoice, or a Zelle or Venmo request. Once I receive payment, I will order the print from the printer, and usually within 3 days, they will drop ship the print to you. Unfortunately, that is the best solution I have at the moment.
Please bear with me as it will take time to do this, especially since I have class for the next 3 weeks, and 3 major exams, before I can spend hours per day fixing it up.
